2023-2024 Wildcats Girls Basketball Schedule

Week 1

Week 1 Update-  We had a great first week of practice.  Worked on passing, dribbling and shooting skills.  Introduced some 3 on 2.  Next week hope to build on this weeks successes. 

Week 2

Week 2 Update - Started to implement 5 on 5 practice while still working on basic basketball skills.  We are one practice away from our first game on Tuesday, December 19th against Homestake Peak.  Reminder that missing practice means missing playing time in games.  Monday's 12/18/23 practice is a NO MISS PRACTICE.  An athlete who misses a practice the day before a game does not play in that game.  

Week 3

Week 3 Update - Competed in our first games of the season against Homestake Peak Middle School.  The girl's played with heart and hustle.  Can't wait until 2024 and we start up again.

Week 4

Week 4 Update- Two days of great practice.  The girls where excited to be back at school after the break.  Worked on our offensive sets and spacing.   

Week 5

Week 5 Update- Sixth grade won their game against ECCA.  Both the 7th and 8th grade showed improvement but fell short.   The Summit game was canceled due to a school closure and is currently in the process of being rescheduled.   

Week 6

Week 6 Update- Sixth grade won both games this week. They beat Vail Mountain School and won in sudden death overtime against Lake County  to remain unbeaten this season.  They are 4-0 after this week.   The sixth grade team will compete in their first tournament next week on Saturday February 3rd at Homestake Peak School. 

Week 7

Tuesday 01/30/24 Practice 4:00-5:30

Wednesday 01/31/24 BCMS @ EVMS Bus leaves at 4:20  5:00  6-7-8 

Thursday 02/01/24 Practice 4:00-5:30

Week 8

Tuesday 02/06/24 GCMS @ BCMS 4:45. GAME 6-7-8

Thursday 02/08/24 BCMS @ STC 4:00 Bus leaves at 3:30 GAME- 8
